Francis Perri BSc MBEng MCIOB CEnv

Francis is a co-founder and Managing Director of energyrating.ie.

Following completion of a Degree in Construction Management in 1994, Francis began his career working for a large residential developer, reaching the position of general manager after a number of years in varying roles. During this time, Francis managed the construction of several thousand residential units.

In 2002 he established a professional building surveying practice, which is continuing to expand and has to date surveyed over four thousand residential properties.

He has built up a solid client base including Architects, Solicitors, Estate Agents, Lending Institutions, Mortgage Brokers as well as private and commercial clients.

Francis is currently vice-chair of the Eastern Centre of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) in Ireland. He has given opinion on legislation such as the 2005 Development Control Bill both in his role as vice chair and as a professional building surveyor.

Patrick Kelleher BSc MSc DipTP DipSurv MCIOB CEnv MBEng

Patrick is a co-founder and the Technical Director of energyrating.ie. He is also a trained energy assessor with responsibilities including the management of our team of energy assessors.

Patrick graduated with a Masters Degree in Construction Management from Waterford Institute of Technology in 1995. Following graduation, Patrick worked for a large construction management and project management company as well as in the network construction department of an international mobile phone operator as a regional construction manager. Completion of postgraduate diplomas in surveying and town planning allowed Patrick to diversify into full-time residential and commercial building surveying.

Our mission is to provide residential and commercial energy ratings to the highest possible standard in as short a time frame as possible. We operate a rigorous auditing process where individual energy assessments are thoroughly reviewed prior to release. We only employ assessors who have, as a minimum, a third level diploma in a construction technology related discipline.

With current environmental and energy issues in mind, both Francis and Patrick achieved 'Chartered Environmentalist' status with the Society for the Environment , and are considered experts in the field of sustainable construction.

We are Building Surveying Members of the Chartered Institute of Building, which has 60,000 members worldwide and over 2,000 Irish Members. The CIOB is the world's largest professional construction institute and comprises the largest range of disciplines within the construction industry.

We are also Corporate members of the Association of Building Engineers.

As Chartered Environmentalist within the Society for the Environment, we are considered specialists in the field of sustainable construction.
